1. Substrate Inspection and Preparation: Inspect the floor for hardness, moisture content, and flatness. Treat the surface using shot blasting or dust‑free grinding to remove loose laitance and improve adhesion. Repair cracks and holes, then sand smooth.
2. Apply Primer: Apply a high‑performance primer by trowel or roller, ensuring uniform coverage and adequate penetration. Drying time shall follow the product instructions, typically at least 6 hours.
3. Apply Intermediate Coat: Mix the intermediate coating material with an appropriate amount of quartz sand, stir evenly, and apply by trowel. After curing, sand to remove dust. Then, mix the intermediate coating with quartz powder and apply two coats of putty. Sand and remove dust after each coat to ensure a flat surface.
4. Apply Topcoat: Apply the first coat of topcoat by roller or trowel. After drying, sand and remove dust. Apply the second coat of topcoat evenly, free from brush marks or sagging. During application, avoid water spills and contact with solvents.
5. Curing of Finished Floor: After application, protect the finished floor from traffic and damage. Pedestrian access may be allowed after 8 hours of curing. Light vehicle traffic may be permitted after 24 hours. Full curing requires 48 hours (extend this period in low‑temperature conditions). Normal use can begin after 72 hours.
